There was severe backlash, accusing Grier and Dallas of misogyny. The Daily Dot claimed that the video 'reinforced horrible beauty and behavioral standards in young women who already battle with low self-esteem'. The video was taken down five days later.

Cameron caused controversy after tweeting about how the voting for the Teen Choice Awards was rigged and he had known he won 6 days prior to the voting had ended.[4]

On March 18, Dallas was arrested and charged with felony vandalism for painting and vandalising his apartment for a video he was making. Dallas was under investigation for a paintball being thrown outside of his apartment that landed near a women outside. Dallas's bail was set at $20,000 and was released the next day.[5]
